Rebecca knew precisely the finish she wanted the first day we met. Her deep passion for the Carolinas was the recipe for a spectacular home.
She was able to merge warmth, charm and class!
The white and black exterior with a large southern brick porch sets the tone of subtle qualities. Entering the home into the foyer Rebecca had us repurpose antique doors to hang on barn door hardware separating the study from the foyer.
From the foyer you can get a glimpse of the gathering room backed dropped by 3 French doors and an outdoor fireplace on the screened porch. From this vantage point you know you are in for a treat.
Once you enter the family room it’s a lot to take in.
- You are connected to the porch featuring 2 custom built day beds – the warmth.
- A custom-built nook for the restored Baby Grand Piano – the charm.
- And a set of bookcases that belong in a Southern Mansion – the class.
In the kitchen she reminds us of her coastal longing. Shocking us with a calypso blue island and round light fixtures easing back to her elegant taste in cabinets and tiles was a daring blend that could have not come off better!
She then took our creativity and effort to another level with her decorating and accessories.
